The size of the font has been purposely shrinked. Is it inferior complex ,are they just plain KEPO or is it just plain weird for
the norm of society?? I always thought this was a innocuous matter . Lately,not anymore especially the past couple of days . I can never comprehend why people tend to stare at me when i'm out with my mum and even when i converse in Cantonese with anyone for that matter . We live in a multi -racial and multi-cultural country and yet other people still find it interesting when we converse in other languages other than our mother tongue . It shoulb be common these days and acceptable in society . Apparently NOT! I have people come up to me and praised me for speaking a language that is [how do i put this] that is not exactly for the colour of my skin . WTF ! This is because I'm an ethnic mutt . A mix of South-Indian and Cantonese descend . Hence i don't look or have prominent features of only one.I have a little of both .
In many occasions i've been called a malay , eurasian and even a goddamn nepalese[no offense though] . And all the time i have to correct them by saying i'm a Chin-dian which is a more understandable term to most Malaysians /Asians .
My point here is that i think people should be more open-minded to mixed races and dont treat them like aliens in public . It has definitely started to get on my nerves and i wish i can be inconsiderate or throw away all smiling pretences or the pretext of being nice and polite.
Sometimes all I want to do is just ask them what is their problem when they stare at me . I 'm the kinda of person who hates being the center of attention .Dnt give the crap that its a free country bcos then i have my right too[OMG am i Crapping} Besides that , it is also pretty obvious when you talk about me when i'm in a room with you . I'm sure everyone hates being talked about behind their back except a few people who craves fr attention[which i think they are mentally ill].
